Phi auth returns CLI authentication failed

I just wanna say thank guys for working on this project, it’s looking amazing and I’m excited to try it out. When I get the phi auth step, I keep getting authentication failed… any suggestions.

Hey @misag by any chance you are using safari, safari tend to fail phi auth. We are currently working on the fix.

Hey @misag Thank you for your feedback & kind words.

We’ve noticed that several browsers are blocking the posting of keys back to localhost. As an alternative, you can use PHI_API_KEY. After signing up, you can export the API key from the left sidebar as: PHI_API_KEY.

We’re working on more comprehensive documentation regarding this. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.

Hi @anuragphi, actually yes, I was using Safari, I gave up on it last night, I didn’t even think to try a different browser, it was late at night for me, I was on my laptop. Today I tried rebuilding again on Windows 10 desktop, and it used edge and it authenticated on the first attempt, thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it. I’m looking forward to exploring phidata a bit.
